Choosing Your Crystal Pattern (Paperback)

A. H. Heisey & Co. (1896-1957) was an innovator and leader in the glassmaking industry. In addition to introducing hundreds of new designs in glassware and numerous improvements to the glass production process, Heisey also pioneered new ways to market glassware as one of the first glass manufacturers to advertise directly to the public. Heisey produced and distributed informational booklets that served as reference guides on how to use table glassware and as sales tools. "Choosing Your Crystal Pattern" was one of these booklets and focused on the Bridal market. It highlights various patterns of stemware along with popular cuttings and etchings and includes sections on the history of Heisey and fine glassware in general. A back pocket was used to store separate brochures on individual patterns, cuttings and etchings. Brides would obtain a copy and select from the available brochures to help them choose a crystal service to go along with their choice of china. This reprint includes the booklet and 29 brochures.
