When refiartir signifies (to distribute) it is marked with an accute accent and is conjugated asflnir; which is the contrary, when it signifies (to reply, to set out again;) then it has no accent and is irregular; refiartir, je repars, je refiartirai, &c. In the other sense, we will say, je voudrais que vous refiartissiez plus egalement; I should like for you to divide more equally. Also when sortir signifies avoir, or obtenir, to obtain (a law term, ) and when ressortir signifies Hire dn ressort, to be under the jurisdiction of; they are then conjugated as jlnir, to distinguish them from to go out, and retsortir, to go out again. Termination in oir. Infinitive Mood. Present. Rec-cvoir, to receive Participle pres, rec-cvant, receiving Participle past, reg-u, m. ue, /. received. Compound Tenses. Present. Avoir rc9U, to have received past. ayant re.u, having received Indicative Mood.. Present.
