Helen Eadie (born 7 March 1947) is a Scottish Labour Co-operative politician and has represented Dunfermline East in the Scottish Parliament since 1999.Born in Stenhousemuir, Eadie was educated at Larbert High School, and is a graduate of the London School of Economics where she received a Certificate in Trade Union Studies (Industrial Relations Department) in 1970. She is a member of the Church of Scotland, and is married with two grown up daughters. Prior to her election to Holyrood was a full time trade union official for the GMB and a councillor on Fife Council. Her father-in-law was former MP for Midlothian Alex Eadie. Eadie has worked for her father-in-law and Harry Ewing at Westminster, and was on James Callaghan's general election campaign team.
