The Seven Golden Ages of Music (Paperback)

Dr. Alan Frank earned a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio, A Master of Music Degree from the Manhattan School of Music, and a Doctor of Music Education Degree from Teachers' College, Columbia University in New York City. A career educator, Dr. Frank taught music in the elementary schools of Manville, New Jersey, in the junior and senior high schools in San Diego, California, and at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh where he was chairman of the department of music. In 1995, after retiring to San Luis Obispo, California, he and his wife, Barbara, developed a successful lecture series called "Wednesday Mornings for Music and Travel." They travel extensively and share a love of photography, art and duplicate bridge.
