The story centers around the London East End of the 1940's and a group of criminals who use a boys magazine as a means to pass secret coded information. This ploy is discovered by a young cockney lad who takes exception to the crooks use of his favorite read and gets his gang together to confuse things. This was the first Ealing comedy ever produced and is a true British classic.
