An ELT workbook for learners with little or no previous knowledge of the language, this is part of a series which offers an approach centred around the whole educational context of learning English at school. It incorporates links across the school curriculum to other subject areas throughout the course, and to other classes in different countries, and the content and concepts are related to learners' ages and levels of ability. The organization of the series takes into account the difficulties of teaching English at school, such as mixed abilities, mixed motivation, time available and class size, and the material has been developed and piloted in collaboration with teachers and classes in many parts of the world.
