It connects the cantons of Z rich and Thurgau, Switzerland, with some services extending to the canton of St. Gallen. The line runs from Winterthur, canton of Z rich, via Frauenfeld, canton of Thurgau, to Weinfelden, also in Thurgau. Some services also extend to Romanshorn, Thurgau, and Rorschach, in the canton of St. Gallen. Rail transport is a means of conveyance of passengers and goods by way of wheeled vehicles running on rail tracks.
