Beard, Chapel Hill; treasurer, G. E. Burwell, Charlotte. Executive Committee--C. J. O'H. Home, Greenville; L. L. Haywood, Durham; P. A. Lee, Dunn; Jesse Carter, Aberdeen; J. G. Beard, ex-ofncio, Chapel Hill. Member of Board of Pharmacy--C. P. Greyer, Morganton. A good deal of rivalry was shown among representatives of Asheville, Wrightsville, Charlotte and Morehead City, who desired the next meeting of the association for their respective towns. Upon balloting, however, Wrightsville was chosen as the meeting place, June 20th-22d, 1916. D. A. Elvington of Wilmington was elected local secretary. ERIE COUNTY PHARMACEUTICAL ASSOCIATION. A The Erie County Pharmaceutical Association held a meeting in the University of Buffalo, Buffalo, N. Y., on June 10th, when resolutions were adopted urging druggists to refuse to fill any prescriptions that call for narcotic drugs. R. K. Smitherspresided. It was pointed out that they had to take this attitude because of the vague and conflicting state and federal laws now on the statutes.
