Lending their influence to make the campaign forceful and lasting in its impress, are the nation's greatest thinkers and educators--in the dental profession and without. To the American dentist, individually and through his various organizations, is due the true credit for what has been and will be accomplished. From every State come the reports of this association or that group of dentists volunteering their services in the establishment of free clinics in the schools, to afford every child the mental and physical advantages that attend tooth soundness. Omaha, Nebraska, has established a free dental dispensary under the name of the Omaha Free Dental Dispensary. "No child in Omaha need have bad teeth," said Dr. F. F. Whitcomb, president of the' organization. The dispensary occupies 1300 square feet of space on the seventh floor of the Brandeis Building, donated by Mr. Brandeis for an indefinite period. The general expenses, which it is estimated will be in excess of $15,000 annually, are to be provided by public subscription. The officers are Dr. F. F. Whitcomb, president; Dr. E. H. Bruening, first vice-president; Dr. A. W. Cox, second vice-president; Dr. M. H. Dunham, secretary; W. H. Bucholz, vice-president of the Omaha National Bank, treasurer. The Minneapolis Dental Society is determined that--' School children of Minneapolis whose parents are too poor to pay for dental repairs shall have their teeth cared for in free dental clinics established in the principal schools by the city.
