Sargis Hovsepyan (born on 2 November 1972 in Yerevan, Soviet Union) is an Armenian football defender, who currently plays for Armenian Premier League club Pyunik Yerevan. Sargis is also a member and current captain of the Armenia national team, participated in 125 international matches and scored two goals since his debut in a home friendly match against Moldova on 14 October 1992. Pyunik Football Club, is an Armenian professional football club based in Yerevan. It is one of the most popular football clubs in Armenia.
