The year was 1952. Ransford Hunt was seventy-seven years old and was living the life typical to an old bachelor when he gradually became aware of subtle changes to his body. He finally determined he was, in fact, regaining his youth. However, it didnat take him long to learn this was not going to be a pleasant journey. After a near lifetime as a police officer, he found it necessary to start living a lie. When friends head known for many years looked at him strangely then turned away with expressions of puzzlement on their faces, he decided head have to leave his home of thirty years and start anew someplace else. In the following six years he returned to childhood and while on this journey, he found love, killed the first person necessary since head returned home from WWI, fathered a son, and killed twice more. He felt head learned the true meaning of life.
