The Waziri (Urdu: ) is breed of domestic sheep from the Waziristan region of Pakistan. The Waziri is a fat-tailed breed kept for mutton and wool production. They are also found in the Bannu District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. They are a medium size with a white body coat with a black or black spotted head. The wool yield is 1.5 kg (fine; fiber diameter 32.9 micrometer). They have a muscular body, small ears and a heavy fat tail reaching the hocks.Sheep (Ovis aries) are quadrupedal, ruminant mammals typically kept as livestock. Like all ruminants, sheep are members of the order Artiodactyla, the even-toed ungulates. Although the name "sheep" applies to many species in the genus Ovis, in everyday usage it almost always refers to Ovis aries. Numbering a little over one billion, domestic sheep are also the most numerous species of sheep.
