A Series of Robbing Thieves (Paperback)

In early nineteenth century Italy, Raul Vedici, the man who had discovered an island in the southern hemisphere, disappears, and is never seen again. He leaves behind a haughty noble-lady-like wife, and a young son. Nobody knows the son's real name. They just call him Captain. He journeys, later in his life, to find his father's hidden island, and to find the father he never got to know. But of course problems cross his path, from the man named Hermes, who is after the map, to bad weather on the Atlantic Ocean. The man does not give up though, and strives to beat time and the waves on the wide ocean, to find a meaning in his life. But who knows what other obstacles cross his path, as he tries to make his way through the world. The sailors are energetic and young, on the ship that Captain owns, and of course they are more obedient to the captain than he knows. Still, when an Italian military vessel gives chase to the captain's ship, he must risk something to gain another..
