This book, shaped like a guitar, with a pictorial essay showing the construction of a Ferrington instrument and 150 digitally composed colour images of the guitars themselves, is not only a testament to a master craftsman, but a collection of portraits of the great musicians who own and play these dream guitars. Built into the design of the book is a CD featuring many unreleased recordings by great musicians playing on their Ferrington guitars, including J.J. Cale, Ry Cooder, Elvis Costello, Kenny Edwards, Neil Finn of "Crowded House", Reeves Gabrels of "Tin Machine", David Hidalgo of "Los Lobos", Randy Jacobs, Souther, Richard Thompson, Michael Ward and Don Was.
