Speedballing follows Carl, who was once a well educated and promising medical student, but his life got too complicated and he resorted to drugs for the answer. This threw his whole life out of control, or so he thought. He had support and help, but the drugs always came first. Finally, after running for so long, he found a way to control his addiction, but the cure had more sinister implications and introduced new beings into his life. Were they aliens or hallucinations? He did not truly know until it was too late, leaving him wishing he had never taken it. At least his addiction only hurt himself, that he could have lived with.
