Years of experience both in teaching and library work have shown us that we educators have often failed in teaching research skills. It is the purpose of this book, part of the Library Research Series, to provide instruction in the basic skills necessary for doing research. We are going to look at libraries and how they can be used to the best advantage. We will attempt to offer some basic resources and techniques which can be used by students while in school and later by the graduates in the profession.
