This is the first book to take a truly global look at facilities operations management in the sport industry. Sports facilities management is in the national news with reports from the BBC that three 2012 Olympic venues in London are being evaluated by accountants to see whether they will deliver value for money. The current estimate of government spending on the games is GBP9.3billion.
