James Ward Brady (May 28, 1881 - August 21, 1947) was a starting pitcher in Major League Baseball who played between 1905 and 1912. Brady batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Elmer, New Jersey. A modest pitcher most of his career, Brady was 24-year-old when he reached the majors in 1905 with the Philadelphia Phillies, spending one year with them before moving to the Pittsburgh Pirates (1906-1907), Boston Red Sox (1908) and Boston Braves (1912).
