The Committee asked the public to suggest subjects for our inquiries over the next few months. They considered 79 different inquiry suggestions and decided to undertake the following inquiries: Aviation strategy; Disabled access to transport; Port capacity - to follow up our inquiry into Transport and the Economy by looking at the factors involved in developing and expanding UK ports, focusing in particular on the connectivity of ports to the road and rail network; Local authority parking control; Marine pilotage; Work of the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA)
