The Swineherd is a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen published
in 1841. It tells of a prince who disguised himself as a swineherd
to win the heart of a haughty princess. This edition includes
remarkable illustrations created by Heinrich Lefler, an Austrian
artist of Art Nouveau style. The Swineherd with Lefler's
illustrations was first published in Wien in 1897.
