Portfolio nine contains all the winning and commended images from the 1999 BG Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition, organized by BBC WILDLIFE Magazine and The Natural History Museum, London. The competition aims to find the best wildlife pictures taken by photographers worldwide and, through these images, emphasise the beauty, wonder and importance of the natural world.
