Part One

After a near fatal accident changes everything and a sudden whiteout engulfs them, the igloo becomes their refuge and their rescue-in more than ways than one.
Part Two
Thrown together under desperate circumstances, Emily and Austin not only struggle to survive but also discover their intense feelings for one another. But when they return to civilization, the realities they must confront make the igloo seem like a dream.
As her present and past collide, Emily can't help but believe she's deluded herself. And though Austin fights for her love and their future, he has his own conflict to face-fleeing from his abusive father.

Part Three
As the Spring whale hunt gets underway, Emily and Austin are looking to the future. Committed to one another, it seems as if they're both finally on track. Unfortunately, Austin's lecherous father doesn't see it that way.
Although they've kept their plans a secret, Austin's father has come up with a scheme of his own. What it lacks in subtlety, it makes up for in brute force. When Austin is with the whaling party, he turns his attention to Emily.
