The Paradise Construction Company is a new collection of poetry by formalist poet and translation-prize winner (John Florio Prize, Monselice Prize) JG Nichols. A selection of his finest poems, it follows on from his previous collection The Flighty Horse (Liverpool University Press), and will be of great local interest to those living around Liverpool, Merseyside and the Wirral. The ambiguity in the title of this collection hints at the ludic note which is so pervasive in it.
