We Are The Bar is an English band originally formed in London, England in 2009. Their music is commonly described as a fusion of rock, hip hop and punk.We Are The Bar began in 2009 when Kip Whitley and PJ Barrett began to write songs as a duo. With Barrett on guitar and Whitley on congas, the two utilized a drum machine to complete their sound. Soon after, Steve Brasier, known as BrAzE and Niall Kelly joined the group and the band gained a loyal regional following. In March 2010 they released their first studio album, Ten Drink Minimum, which was recorded and mixed in 24 studio hours. Ten Drink Minimum has proved a mainstay of the Punk/Hip Hop genre and was listed at #11 on The Fade's Top 20 Punk Rock Albums.
