Javani has been notable for his firm stand against protests following the 2009 Iranian presidential election, stating in early July 2009 that one Iranians can remain impartial, "there are two currents; those who defend and support the revolution and the establishment, and those who are trying to topple it," and that "we came up against a deep mischief during this election. ...
