Review This Product

A masterpiece!!

Mon, 24 Jun 2013 | Review by: Njabulo P

This is the Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA-nominated effort by legendary composer John Williams for Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln". Williams channels such composers as Aaron Copland and this music is reminiscent of Williams' own musical scores for films such as "Born on the Fourth of July" and "Saving Private Ryan", while some of the more tense moments might remind some of James Horner's score to the 1989 film "Glory". The themes that John Williams has created are just beautiful and the orchestrations are lush. The album ends with a piano rendition of "With Malice Towards None". It's all just so beautiful
