The struggle lies within a strong, independent woman who has always been fine taking care of herself, until she discovers the need to collapse and helplessly be rescued by the man who had never known feelings existed in this world, until he met her. Switching between Blake and Colette's perspective as the story goes on, we see and feel the joy that two lost souls experience by being with one another, while feeling the desperation and pain they experience when they are without.
