"The Original Killer" is about a Los Angeles Police Detective named John Burton who works Homicide and is assigned some of the most horrific and odd murder cases in the city. After the murder of a young woman, he comes to find out it is identical to a previous homicide. Now he questions whether or not the man who will be executed within the week is guilty for the first murder. He must solve the case quickly to find the original killer, but along the way, people who have connections to the case start turning up dead. He's short on time and must find the original killer before anyone else is killed.
