High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Victor Gabriel Ehrenberg (August 22, 1851, in Wolfenbuttel - March 10, 1929, in Gottingen) was a German jurist. He is the uncle of historian Victor Ehrenberg, Geoffrey & Lewis Elton's great uncle and great-great uncle to Ben Elton. He gave lectures at Universities of Gottingen (1877), Rostock (1882), again Gottingen (1888), Leipzig (1911-1922). He married Helene Ehrenberg (nee von Jhering; 1852-1920), daughter of the legal historian Rudolf von Jhering (1828-1892). Their daughter Hedwig Martha Ehrenberg (1891-1972) married Max Born.
