The population was 3,837 at the 2000 census. As of the census of 2000, there were 3,837 people, 1,486 households, and 1,056 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 673.4/km (1,742.4/mi ). There were 2,319 housing units at an average density of 407.0/km (1,053.1/mi ). The racial makeup of the CDP was 90.9% White, 0.3% African American, 0.7% Native American, 0.8% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 2.7% from other races, and 4.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 8.8% of the population.
