Ron English (born May 21, 1968) is an American football coach and former player. He is the current head coach of the Eastern Michigan Eagles football team, having replaced Jeff Genyk before the 2009 season. From 1987 to 1990, English attended and played college football at the University of California, Berkeley. He graduated in 1990 with a degree in communications. In 1995, he received his master's degree in education administration from Arizona State University.
