Margaret Frances Sorrells is a retired Federal employee living in Texas. Travels in the UK and Ireland is the third book in a series of travel essays entitled, Adventures with Mr. Tape. In Travels in the UK and Ireland, Margaret and her companions shop for dishes, search for ancestors in northern England, lose their coats in the English countryside, and one of their friends in Phoenix Park, Ireland. In England, she tours Leeds Castle, the Mid-evil Castle of Warwick, Windsor Castle, and Edinburg Castle in Scotland. She even spends the night at the Dromoland Castle in Ireland. She and her companions have tea at the elaborate Brows and Ritz Hotels, and the Orangey inside Kensington Park. They enjoy a night at the London Symphony, visit the British Museum, and dine at places like Planet Hollywood and Sherlock Holmes Pub. They take many shopping sprees at Harrods, and Oxford Street, and ride the huge London Eye Ferris Wheel.
