Doctor Who: The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe (DVD)

The 2011 Christmas special of the popular and long-running BBC series following the adventures of the time-travelling Doctor (Matt Smith). In this particular tale, set during the Second World War, the Doctor becomes involved in the adventures of Madge Arwell (Claire Skinner) and her two children. When the trio are evacuated from their home in London to a remote house in Dorset they are met by an eccentric caretaker and swiftly find themselves transported into a magical snow-filled dimension. Can the Doctor reach them and return them safely to reality? Alexander Armstrong, Bill Bailey and Arabella Weir are among the co-stars.
