We have carefully examined the accounts of the Publishing Committee which have been placed in our hands. There were furnished us the accounts covering the seven years from 1872 to 1879, and after careful ex amination we find them strictly correct and carefully kept. We have examined the accounts of the Presiding Elders, and find those of the St. Louis, Sedalia. Springfield and Missouri Districts, correct. In the accounts of the Presiding Elder of the Kansas City District we find some irregularities in connection with the Missionary Appropriation of the Golden City charge. R. M. MORGAN, Chairman. M. W. The St. Louis Conference continue to rejoice in, and support, the American Bible Society as the chief and most efficient channel through which our people can aid in the distribution of the Word of God. That it is a matter of great gratitude to God that he has enabled the Society to translate the Bible into seventy different languages and dialects, and send them out at the rate of nine hundred thousand copies a year.
