Sir Michael Francis Joseph McDonnell (1882-1956) was a Barrister
and scholar and subsequently chief justice of the British Mandate
of Palestine. His works include: Ireland and the Home Rule Movement
(1908), A History of St. Paul's School (1909) and The Arab Case:
The McMahon Correspondence (1939).
