This book needs to be used in conjunction with Mike's "Bigger Leaner Stronger" book, which explains why and how to do the program. This book is a workbook where you record your results and tells you what to do on each workout day.
The workouts are tough, but do-able and if you are consistent and serious you will benefit from them. I am already measurably stronger after a few weeks. My wife is impressed ;-)
