Eligibility of Industrial Sectors for Compensation Programs (Paperback)

This research presents a decision support methodology for strategic selection decisions, in which a ranking has to be made for seven industrial sectors in Gaza strip. The ranking is used to assign more funds to the higher ranked sectors in any future compensation and rehabilitation projects in the presence of one stakeholder "industrial experts." The importance of this study is that the developed ranking will guarantee a systematic way in rehabilitating the damaged production lines in the sectors' facilities. Therefore, more funds will be allocated to the sectors that satisfy the evaluation criteria the most to assure that the resources are consumed in the right place. This research uses a combination of MCDM methods where the analytical hierarchy process was used to determine the criteria weights. TODIM and ELECTRE III methods were used to produce the desired ranking for the industrial sectors in Gaza Strip.
