Rules of Thumb UK for Building Service Engineers (Paperback, 3rd Revised edition)

This "Technical Note" contains a revised edition of rules of thumb for assessing the design of building services. The rules have collected from the building services industry, and relate to UK design practice. They have come from a number of sources, including major design offices, individual engineers and published material. They include all the main design parameters, but do not necessarily cover all detailed aspects. Because they have come from a variety of sources, they do not necessarily form a coherent set. A cautionary note on the indiscriminate use of rules of thumb by inexperienced engineers is included.
