"The committee recommend that the Secretary be authorized to employ such assistance as he may need, at such compensation as may be proper, not to exceed $150 per annum. "Robt. White, "Chairman." On motion of W. H. Sands, the regular order of business was suspended, and the several nominees were elected by the Association to the offices for which they had been respectively nominated. After some discussion, participated in by J. H. HamLine, J. C. Lee, and Judson Harmon, the regular order of business was resumed.
