Imagine waking up with no knowledge of anything...no memory of how to do the simplest things in life like open a tin can...no memory of how to walk or talk...no memory of who you are. Imagine that everyone else in the world is in the same position. Imagine being a survivor, struggling to live in a devastated world with no knowledge of even the most basic skills. And then there's the question of memory...is it better to remember all that you have lost or to never know who you were. Memory can be painful, whether you have it or not!
