This anthology of major poets and poems is intended for senior and secondary school classes. The book includes representation of black writers from Africa, Asia and Europe. It is strongest on the 20th century, but also has a selection of classic poems from Chaucer and Shakespeare onwards. Poets include: from the UK - Rupert Brooke, D.H. Lawrence, Philip Larkin, C.
