Says Who? - Gr 4: Resource Book (Paperback)

This title, the third in the Gariep skills and Outcomes development Project, explores the ideas of bias (a one-sided viewpoint), prejudice (an unfair viewpoint) and different points of view. Young readers are encouraged to back up what they say using source and evidence but also making decisions as to whether these are reliable or can be trusted. They are further shown how necessary it is to recognise that other people often have different viewpoints from their own. By exploring other viewpoints, the readers are guided into understanding that differing values and beliefs can be equally valid.
