Rolf Kaarby was a Norwegian nordic combined skier who competed in the 1930s. He won a silver medal in the individual event at the 1937 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Chamonix. Chamonix-Mont-Blanc or, more commonly, Chamonix is a commune in the Haute-Savoie d partement in the Rh ne-Alpes region in south-eastern France. It was the site of the 1924 Winter Olympics, the first Winter Olympics. The commune's population of around 9,800 ranks 865th within the country of France.
