- Indications: 5-HT1™ supports healthy serotonin levels thereby enhancing mood and reducing anxiety.
- Pharmacological Action: Sceletium appears to have inhibitory effects on the serotonin transporter (SERT). It is thought that this is relevant to supplementation of sceletium as serotonin reuptake inhibitors are used in the treatment of anxiety.
- Adults: Take 1 capsule daily (with or without meals). Dose can be increased to 1 capsule twice daily if needed.
- Each capsule contains the following active ingredients: 15mg delta-KNX™ sceletium extract - (standardised to 1.25% delta-7-mesembranone); 750µg Total alkaloid content (188μg delta-7-mesembranone; 375μg mesembrine; 187μg mesembranone)
- Inactive ingredients: Hypromellose (cellulose) vegetarian capsule shell, mannitol (sugar alcohol), silicon dioxide, citric acid, magnesium stearate.
- Sugar-free.
- Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
