To date, no exact history, description or even definition or name of that language has been given and the name 'Ancient Basic' is speculative. Also, the translation of the only known text is unknown. Ancient Basic was created by Ben Burtt for the lyrics to "Dha Werda Verda" specifically for the Shadows of the Empire CD. Karen Traviss incorporated the words "Dha Werda Verda" in her corpus of the Mando'a ...
