It is the home stadium of the Miami Dolphins National Football League team, the Florida Marlins Major League Baseball team, and the University of Miami Hurricanes football team. It also hosts the Orange Bowl, an annual college football bowl game. Originally named Joe Robbie Stadium, it has also been known as Pro Player Park, Pro Player Stadium, Dolphin Stadium, Dolphins Stadium, and Land Shark Stadium.
