Carnal Wreckage is a full volume of eighty-one of the author's poems and lyrics. The major themes of the book are love, life, and self. Each work reflects a certain mood or experience of the author's in at least one of the above areas of scope. Although the range of spectrum may seem broad, the works contain a great depth of human feeling and experience and are personal to the author. Each work relates to an experience that reader will be able to identify and associate with. Although there is room for interpretation, the works naturally encourage a sense of awareness within each subject. A major theme of the volume is overcoming current challenges and moving on to the next ones. Life may not be a bed of roses, but it doesn't mean we can stop and take the time to smell them.
