AIDS and HIV Infection Information for United Nations Employees and Their Families (Electronic book text)

As we leave the 20th century, there is still no cure in sight for one of the most frightening and devastating diseases the world has known. HIV and AIDS continue to affect the lives of millions around the world. But they are not faceless millions. Almost all of us know a friend, family member or co-worker who has been affected. In our work as United Nations employees, we also see at first hand how the pandemic is ravaging the developing world, particularly Africa and South Asia.
