M. 355 is top of boat spike driven into a notch cut on a root on the northeast side of a soft-maple tree, 1.7 feet in diameter, standing in the front yard of the Lasalle County poorhouse, and being the first tree in the front row of shade trees, along the river road, east from the north and south row of shade trees along the west side of yard. It is 55.65 feet cast from P. B. M. 82 and 92.1 feet south from the center line of the electric railway. In sec. 17, T. 33 X., R. 3 E., Lasalle Countv, 111. Elevation, 144.0118 meters, 472.484 feet. P. B. M. 82 is stone, pipe, and cap (see note 2, p. 94), set in the northeast corner of the field which adjoins, on the west, the private driveway along the west side of the front yard of the Lasalle County poorhouse. The leneh is 2.3 feet south of south fence line of river road, 1.7 feet west from west fence of private drive, 89.2 feet south from center line of electric railway, 27.15 feet west from center of 16-inch soft maple at northwest corner of front yard of poorhouse, and 40.8 feet northwest from the center of the third tree south from the north end of the row of shade trees along the west fide of said poorhouse yard. In the SK. J sec. 17, T. 33 N., R. 3 E., Lasalle County, 111. Elevation of cap, 144.1688 meters, 472.999 feet; of bolt in stone, 142.9643 meters, 469.047 feet. T. B. M. 356 is top of boat spike driven into a notch cut on a root on the northwest side of a double box-elder tree, 1.3 feet in diameter, standing in a row of box elders, 3.4 feet south of the south fence line of the river road, about 775 feet west of the angle in said road; 0.69 mile east of the Lasalle County poorhouse; about 2 miles ...
