At a stated Term of the District Court of the United States of America, for the Northern District of California, held at the Court House, in the City of San Francisco, on Wednesday the 19th day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine, Present: The Honorable Ogden Hoffman, District Judge. Andres Castillero. ) And now at this day, upon notice of motion to the opposite party, Mr. Randolph, of counsel for the Government in this cause, moves the Court for an order closing the proofs herein, and fixing a day for the final argument thereof; and the said motion having been argued by Mr. Randolph for the U.
